The place with exceptional terroir and climatic condition is a birthplace of Azerbaijan’s one of the most unique wines.
Surrounded by two rivers at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, this area has an ideal balance of rain, sunny days and average annual temperature. The place is blessed, almost identical to southern Italy.
This is where Azerbaijani winemaking traditions meet advanced Italian technology to create not only unique wines but also distillates.
The equipment of the plant was entrusted to Della Toffola, and the laboratory is one of the most equipped in Europe. Only a few European companies have such equipment. To control the wine production process in accordance with modern quality standards, professional hereditary technologists were invited to the plant - winemakers from Italy, Daniel D'Andrea and Elisa Vagnoni.
The place where we mature our wines in the Italian and French oak barrels with love and patience.
The cellar of SAVALAN – ASPI Winery is equipped with oak barrels made by Garbelotto.
The first wine museum ever in Azerbaijan
This is the place where you can learn the winemaking history in Azerbaijan and Gabala together with the history of our company. In this museum, we have collected many valuable and rare archeological findings which reveals the ancient winemaking traditions and habits in Azerbaijan. Furthermore, in the museum we are also exhibiting the special and very old vintage Azerbaijani wines from last century.
Of course, it is not finished yet. We kept very important souvenirs for us and for you in this museum which are the first bottles of SAVALAN ever made.
