Quality like a tradition, wine like an art.
The company revives the art of winemaking in an area with unique climatic conditions, where wine industry flourished in ancient times - at the foothills of the Greater Caucasus, in the Savalan valley. This is the most beautiful place of the region, the heart of the Gabala region can rightfully be considered the cradle of winemaking.
The place with exceptional terroir and climatic condition is a birthplace of Azerbaijan’s one of the most unique wines.
Surrounded by two rivers at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, this area has an ideal balance of rain, sunny days and average annual temperature. The place is blessed, almost identical to southern Italy.
This is where Azerbaijani winemaking traditions meet advanced Italian technology to create not only unique wines but also distillates.
The equipment of the plant was entrusted to Della Toffola, and the laboratory is one of the most equipped in Europe. Only a few of European companies have such equipment. To control the wine production process in accordance with modern quality standards, professional hereditary technologists were invited to the plant - winemakers from Italy, Daniel D'Andrea and Elisa Vagnoni.

The cellar of SAVALAN – ASPI Winery is equipped with oak barrels made by Garbelotto.
To build a team, we united and brought together two sunny and generous countries of Azerbaijan and Italy.
Our wines are produced under the guidance of highly qualified Italian engineers - Mr. Daniel D'Andrea and Mrs. Elisa Vagnoni. The SAVALAN team is a close-knit international group of like-minded people dedicated to their job and highly specialized on their field who consider quality the highest value.
